Director of Marketing Analytics

We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Director of Marketing Analytics to play a key role and lead a team of data scientists developing marketing insights through deep and innovative analytics.

You will be on the leadership team, report directly to the CEO, and play a key role in helping to shape our data strategy.

You will design the overall marketing analytics strategy in order to identify key strategic insights in the bigger picture, and support ongoing automated adaptive content and journey optimization.

As a Director of Marketing Analytics you will be responsible for creating well-designed marketing analytics to make smarter and more informed business decisions and improve overall business strategy.

Director of Marketing Analytics duties and responsibilities

  • Plan and implement overall marketing analytics strategy

The Content Writer / Strategist will take on the role of primary writer for highly advanced email marketing programs. They will collaborate closely with cross-discipline partners, including design, data and technology.

  • Write in multiple voices and styles, both short and long form
  • Craft compelling click-worthy copy for emails, web, articles and more
  • Work in a highly collaborative, fast paced environment.

Data Scientist

The Data Scientist is responsible for creating business value out of data through the mining and statistical analysis of large data sets. The Data Scientist will work closely with Data Engineers to create models, query data and generate reports for key stakeholders.

Essential Functions

  • Process, cleanse and verify data for analysis
  • Mine data leveraging state-of-the-art methods
  • Complete ad-hoc analysis and present results in a clear manner
  • Select features, build and optimize classifiers using machine learning techniques
  • Develop actionable quantitative marketing models in the areas of marketing effectiveness, ROI, pricing and optimization
  • Work on large scale projects that utilize online & offline data, structured & unstructured data, media/behavioral/attitudinal data to build customer centric models and optimization tools

Qualifications

  • Strong statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
  • Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.
  • Experience with common data science toolkits and languages, such as Python, R, Weka, NumPy, Pandas, MatLab, etc
  • Expertise with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, D3.js, GGplot, etc.
  • Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig, etc.
  • Ability to effectively communicate advanced technical topics to a non-technical audience in both verbal and written forms
  • Demonstrated experience with database technologies (e.g. Oracle, SAP, DB2, Teradata, MS SQL Server, Vertica, Greenplum, SAP HANA, MySQL)

Description

The Data Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, testing and evaluating data solutions systems in order to load, transform and query large data sets from a variety of sources.

 Essential Functions

  • Work with our Data Scientists to create data-driven insights and reports for senior management
  • Assist Data Scientists in developing processes to migrate data from various formats and data sources(Oracle, MySQL, Sybase, flat files, etc.) to database architecture
  • Design and implement tools to analyze very large data set of raw data
  • Process unstructured data into a form suitable for analysis
  • Perform ad hoc data updates and other follow-on data services
  • Automate recurring analytics reports for clients

Qualifications

QA/QC Analyst

 Description:

The QA/QC Testing Analyst will be responsible for validating the quality and stability of our email campaigns and web applications. Working hand in hand with our Interactive Development team, you will be evaluating the quality and stability of solutions and ensuring that they are in accordance with the project requirements and client deadlines.

Essential Functions:

  • Create, maintain and test against project test plans and test cases
  • Perform testing of agency solutions including:
    • Email campaigns across desktop, mobile and web-based email clients
    • Web sites, including desktop, mobile and responsive, across different web browsers, operating systems and clients
    • Desktop, mobile and web-based applications and services
    • Banner and rich media campaigns
  • Identify, log and track issues identified during testing phases
  • Assure the integrity between solution deliverables and project requirements
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Quality Assurance best practices and tools
  • Refine and improve upon existing testing best practices and processes
  • Test and troubleshoot inbox deliverability of emails
  • Gather, analyze and report key metrics on performance of email operations
  • Maintain compliance protocols and implement best practices

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related field strongly preferred, but not required

Proofreader

Do typos make you want to tear your hair out? Grammatical errors get your blood boiling? Clunky copy cause cold sweats? We want you on our fast-paced expanding team as a Proofreader.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with content creators and designers to ensure all of our content and media meets the highest standard of quality and accuracy.
  • Proofread and correct all necessary deliverables for error-free grammar, spelling, punctuation, style and tone. These include copy decks, creative presentations, advanced content spreadsheets and user stories, webpages, emails, and live Q/A tests.
  • Assist in the desktop and mobile Q/A process of large-scale digital programs with multiple variations and targeting criteria.
  • Identify inconsistencies and offer creative suggestions to fix awkward or unclear language.
  • Check and apply proofing and design changes to documents and layouts and review updated assets to guarantee that edits have been implemented and no new errors have been introduced.
  • Ensure all corporate, product branding, legal and compliance guidelines are explicitly followed.
  • Display tact, diplomacy and the ability to protect confidential information

 

Must Haves:

We’re looking for a Back-End Developer who has a passion for web development, a curiosity to learn more and a willingness to get the job done.
